Just last week, the Rodin Museum celebrated its glorious reopening on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway after three years of extensive restoration.
The festivities continue with two outdoor summer night concerts, starting this Sunday, July 22 with “Spectral Impressions: Music of computer music pioneer Tristan Murail,” from 5:30-8 p.m.
Tickets are $25; call (215) 235-7469. You can also get two concert packages: the Thinker Package includes a VIP tour with Rodin Associate Curator Jennifer Thompson and a meet and greet with Murail for $75; the Crescendo Package includes just the latter for $50.
Also be sure to save the date for the second concert; it’s Saturday, July 28 spotlighting the music of Philippe Hurel, performed by the Argento Chamber Ensemble.
Paid parking is available at Eakins Oval or street parking where available.
