Head out to Chadds Ford on Thursday, July 12 and enjoy free admission to the Brandywine River Museum in celebration of the life and legacy of Andrew Wyeth, one of the most significant American painters of the 20th century.
While there, you’ll be able to view the exhibition A Painter’s View: The Andrew Wyeth Studio, which brings together 20 paintings and drawings depicting the interior and exterior of the building. All of the works are drawn from private collections and have never before been on view to the public.
The gallery also includes many of Wyeth’s major works painted in the studio over his 70-year career.
Insider tip: the museum offers free admission on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m.-noon, so if you’re unable to make it on July 12, you can take advantage of that special offer!
And don’t forget you can take an exclusive tour of Wyeth’s studio this summer, for the first time ever.
