Battleship New Jersey To Host A World War II Victory Day Dance And Barbecue, Saturday, August 11

Celebrate World War II Victory Day at one of Philadelphia’s greatest historical attractions.
The Battleship New Jersey is hosting a WWII Victory Day Dance and Barbecue on Saturday, August 11 to celebrate this momentous occasion in both national and global history.
The festivities will get underway starting at 6 p.m. on the fantail of the ship. Enjoy barbecue straight from the grill, a cash bar, live WWII-era music performed by the Patriot Brass Ensemble, swing dancing and much more.
Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased by calling 1 (866) 877-6262 using the extension 107.
You can also tour the battleship in the afternoon and then enjoy the Dance and BBQ later in the evening. The tour and dinner/dance combo ticket costs only $42 per person.

And remember we’re hosting a Moonlit Movie Screening in Rittenhouse Square on Saturday, August 11 starting at 8:30 p.m.; enjoy the Battleship festivities for an hour or two, then pop over to Rittenhouse for the rest of your summer night.
