When life gives you lemons, forget ‘em and grab a sour beer instead.

Devil’s Den is hosting their 3rd annual Pucker Up! SourFest from Saturday, August 18 starting at noon through Friday, August 24.

This year, the South Philly watering hole went all out for their sour selection. The sours will be taking over all 17 draft lines on the inaugural day on Saturday, August 18, moving down to a still-impressive eight sour taps for the rest of the week.

They’ll have 40 different drafts along with over 40 bottle beers ready for your enjoyment. The kitchen will also be preparing specials that will compliment the sours.

Expect everything on tap from Bruery Tart of Darkness and Dogfish Head Nobel Rot to many rare favorites from Russian River. Devil’s Den will also boast an impressive bottle collection including the Avery Depuceleuse, Brux, Cascade Sang Noir and many more.

On Tuesday, August 21 at 7 p.m., they’ll also be hosting a Sour Seminar led by Alex Forbes from Artisanal Imports. For just $20 per person, you can learn about how sour beers are made, the aging process, flavors and more. Samples and a variety of hors d’oeuvers will be served as well.
