Great Urban Race Citywide Scavenger Hunt Hits Philadelphia September 8; Five Uwishunu Twitter Followers Can Enter To Receive Free Entry For Themselves And A Plus One
The Great Urban Race, a wild urban adventure in which teams of two to four solve twelve clues and participate in exciting mental and physical challenges in order to discover the city in a fresh way, is coming to Philadelphia on Saturday, September 8.
It’s a seriously awesome way to explore Philadelphia, as you bond with your teammates to compete in a citywide scavenger hunt that challenges even the most experienced of scavenger hunters.
Registration is $60 per person, but we have a special promo code to offer five Uwishunu readers and a +1 for each of them, courtesy of Chevy.
Included with each participant registration is: a Great Urban Race t-shirt, clue sheet, race bib and post-race refreshments (water, granola bars and bananas). The top 25 qualifying teams will also receive a medal and an invitation to the National Championship race.
New this year for our participants over 21 is a complimentary beer awarded after the race’s completion. And there are even cash prizes for first through third place winners of the race.
Doesn’t that sound tempting? All you have to do to enter is follow Uwishunu on Twitter, and tweet us your best answer to this question:
“If I won free entry for the @GreatUrbanRace from @Uwishunu, my #Philly-centric team name would be _______________! #GURPhilly”
Make sure to check our Twitter account throughout the day to find out if you won! Winners will be selected at 4 p.m. Click here for the official rules. Also, be sure to follow the Great Urban Race and GM Northeast on Twitter for additional event updates!
