The show tells the tale of the Inquisition’s bearing down on a small Jewish community in Portugal, who decide to flee to find peace in seemingly liberal Amsterdam.
But Baruch Spinoza, the rabbi’s heir apparent, is a revolutionary thinker. His bold ideas lead to confrontation that threaten the community.
The show is based on true events in the life of Spinoza, one of the greatest philosophers in history.
If you saw it last year, you can experience it anew, and if you didn’t, you’ll be delighted that you’ve gotten a second chance.
