Longwood Gardens Breaks A Historical Attendance Record Of One Million Visitors In One Year’s Time

For the first time ever, Longwood Gardens broke a historical attendance record of one million visitors in one year’s time. The one millionth visitor arrived at the Kennett Square gardens on August 17, greeted by Longwood Gardens Director Paul B. Redman and 100 other staff members. The huge increase in visitation is due in part to the exhibition on view now, the epic Light Installations By Bruce Munro. If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you do. It closes on September 29. Congrats to Longwood Gardens, one of the Philadelphia countryside’s most treasured attractions! [Longwood Gardens]
