Peddler’s Village To Host Its First Annual Peach Festival, August 11-12, With Peach Treats, Pie Eating Contests, Sidewalk Sales And More
Can’t get enough of the annual Peddler’s Village Strawberry Festival in Bucks County?
This weekend, Peddler’s Village brings you another great fruit to celebrate.
August is National Peach Month and Peddler’s, just after celebrating their 50th anniversary, will host their First Annual Peach Festival and Summer Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Join the peach madness all weekend with plenty of food, shopping, pie eating contests and live music. Kids can enjoy jugglers, a strolling stiltwalker and pony rides all weekend long as well as a screening of James and the Giant Peach on Saturday night.
Town Crier Bakery will be your go-to for all things peach. Think: fritters, pies, muffins, strudel, kughen, cakes and cupcakes, dumplings, turnovers, tea breads, pull-apart bread, tarts and butter cake. (That’s a lot of peach!)
Also, don’t forget to sample a variety of peach butters from Bauman’s Pennsylvania Dutch family farm.
Still not enough? A peach pie eating contest will be held at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. To participate, sign up from 10 a.m.-2:45 p.m. at the hospitality booth. May the bravest and hungriest win.
Once you’ve had your fill, be sure to check out the deals at the Annual Sidewalk Sale. Shops all throughout Peddler’s Village will be participating.
Bonus: admission and parking are totally free.
