Sixers Fans: Welcome New Sixer Andrew Bynum To Philadelphia During Tomorrow’s Public Press Conference At The National Constitution Center
The Sixers welcome their new center, All-Star Andrew Bynum, to Philadelphia on Wednesday with a public pep-rally!
Recently, the Sixers were involved in one the NBA’s biggest offseason moves, trading longtime Sixer Andre Iguodala and receiving All-Star center Andrew Bynum from the Los Angeles Lakers, along with sharpshooting guard Jason Richardson.
The Sixers are hoping to make a great first impression on the super-talented Bynum, so they are transforming the official press conference into a pep rally! The press conference will take place on Wednesday at the National Constitution Center at 12:15 p.m. and fans may arrive as early as 9:30 a.m., when the Center opens to the public.
New Sixers Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson will obviously be in attendance, as will head coach Doug Collins, the always enthusiastic CEO Adam Aron, owner Joshua Harris — and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few other familiar faces at the NCC on Wednesday.
Be sure to arrive decked out in Sixers gear and ready to cheer as the team prepares to begin a new chapter.
This move definitely has us excited for the upcoming season, which gets underway in October. Can’t wait!
