Philadelphia really knows how to move on two wheels.
Just last year, the city was named the #1 big city for bike commuting per capita in the U.S. Awesome!
With the help of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia (BCGP), you can get more involved in Philly’s bike scene, too.
The Bicycle Coalition will be leading five-mile group fun rides on the third Wednesday of every month starting in August.
The fun kicks off on Wednesday, August 15, at 5:25 p.m. Meet BCGP’s John Boyle at Sydenham Street and bike to the Ben Franklin Bridge. Each month, a different route will be featured, highlighting how bike-able the city has become.
Helmets and bikes are required.
Check online or on BCGP’s Twitter for each month’s ride routes.
Meet Alex Doty, the Executive Director of the Bicycle Coalition, and learn more about the organization here.
