The Mercer Museum And Fonthill Castle Present “Eat And Drink Local: A World Of Beer,” Friday, August 17

The Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, the historical house and museum preserving the the unique collection of Moravian tiles and prints produced during the American Arts and Craft Movement from the late Henry Chapman Mercer in Doylestown, are getting ready to host their annual brew event, Friday, August 17, 7-10 p.m.

Taking place on the beautiful grounds of the six-story castle, Eat and Drink Local: A World of Beer highlights neighborhood breweries, cheese artisans, homebrewers and sustainable cuisine for an evening fete.

The celebration, which is known to sell out every year, will gather Weyerbacher Brewery, Outta Hand Homebrew, Mountain Laurel Distillery, Doylestown Food Co-Op, Cherry Grove Farm and many more along with tunes from musician, Dallas Vietty, who plays gypsy jazz accordion with The Hot Club of Philadelphia.

Tickets are $35 for general admission, $28 for museum members and must be purchased beforehand by calling (215) 348-9461.
