Varga Bar To Host Its Third Annual Crab Bake, Tuesday, August 28

With Labor Day fast approaching, we can think of nothing better to close out the summer than a seafood feast.

On Tuesday, August 28, Varga Bar is hosting it third annual crab bake featuring an array of seasonal ocean-centric specialities. Oh, and watermelon margaritas.

Throughout the all day event, Chef Evan Turney will be serving up oyster po’boys and crab sliders, steamed hardshell crabs, grilled oysters, lobster and crab steam pots, and of course, a raw bar.

There’s also the option of a $30 crab bake special if you would rather not order a la carte.

And this just in: Sly Fox is helping out with $3 cans all day, noon-10 p.m.

Varga Bar has plenty of sidewalk seating as well as wide open windows on sunny days so you can bask in the late summer air. Make a staycation out of it; fall is almost here.
