Open Air kicked off with great fanfare last night, and the energy of opening night will be continuing for the 3-D light installation’s second night tonight.

Want a great place to watch? We’ve teamed up with the Philadelphia Museum of Art to bring back their popular “Martinis on the Portico” feature to this week’s edition of Art After 5, and we’re turning it into an unofficial “Open Air” viewing party. From 5-8:45 p.m., enjoy live music from West Philly native Denise King, after-hours gallery access, cash bar and Starr snacks, all leading up to the 8 p.m. debut of Open Air Night Two.

Special Discount for Uwishunu Readers

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is very graciously extending a special discount to Uwishunu readers for the event. Visitors to Art After 5 on Friday, September 21 who mention “Uwishunu” when they purchase their museum admission at the main entrance will get $2 off the general admission price of $20. That’s $18 for 3 hours and 45 minutes of after-hours gallery access, live music and quality time with Team Uwishunu. Not to mention an unbeatable view of night two of Open Air.

Note: The discount is valid for $2 off general Adult admission price of $20. Walk-up only. Cannot be combined with any other offers.

As always, be sure to follow us on Twitter to keep up-to-date throughout the evening. Can’t wait to see you there.
