Sly Fox Brewing Company, one of Philadelphia’s favorite local brewers, is hosting their annual “Can Jam” Festival this Saturday, September 22.

Festival goers can expect nine hours of entertainment at Sly Fox’s new Pottstown Brewery. It’s the first major event at this new site, and it’s going to deliver.

From noon-9 p.m., a series of six regional bands will perform, as a KanJam competition (PDF) pits disc-throwers against each other, Sly Fox beer in hand. Check out the game’s official rules here for some background.

Meanwhile, enjoy delicious pizza and BBQ by Philly Pigs, plus, of course, cold craft beer from Sly Fox.

It’s an all-day, totally free celebration of canned craft beer. Which Philadelphia is an industry leader of.

BYO lawn chairs. Note: there won’t be any brewery tours available that day.
