The Barnes Foundation And Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre Partner Up For A Special Performance Series Beginning Friday, September 21

Shakespeare meets the Barnes in this four-month lecture and performance series kicking off Friday, September 21.

In partnership with the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, a new series called Shakespeare in the World will take place every third Friday at the Barnes Foundation and invites critical discussion around Shakespeare with guest speakers, live performances and plenty of audience participation.

The collaboration between the two organizations and the series itself are inspired and guided by Albert Barnes’ and Shakespeare’s deep appreciation for imagination, creativity and innovation.

Each installment of Shakespeare in the World will take place at the Barnes from 6:30-8 p.m. on September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21.
