The Pennsylvania Conference for Women, the largest women’s conference in the state, returns to Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Convention Center on Tuesday, October 2.
The annual conference first opened its doors in 2004, and since then it has grown to attract more than 5,000 attendees.
It’s a one-day professional and personal development event for women that features dozens of renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on health, personal finance, executive leadership, small business and entrepreneurship, work/life balance, branding and social media marketing and more.
At the end of the day, it’s an informative and interesting way to make connections and foster your personal and professional growth. The conference also attracts a great roster of big names. This year’s lineup includes:
• Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Huffington Post Media Group
• Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, co-founder of Vera Bradley
• Delia Ephron, best-selling author and screenwriter of You’ve Got Mail and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
• Meredith Walker, co-creator with Amy Poehler of Smart Girls at the Party and former Saturday Night Live producer
Full disclosure: this Uwishunu editor will be in the house, leading a roundtable in the social media pavilion.
Registration for the conference is open online. Be sure to enter code GPTMC when registering and receive $20 off the individual ticket price; and $200 off the price for a table for 10.
