Penn Treaty Park is a favorite among Philadelphians for its scenic Delaware Riverside location.
Plus, there’s no better place to celebrate the local history, community, commerce and culture of Fishtown than Penn Treaty Park.
To wit, the Fishtown Neighbors Association (FNA) will present the 5th Annual RiverCity Festival on October 6, from noon-5 p.m. at Penn Treaty Park in order to revel in the thriving neighborhood of Fishtown and all of what has made it so.
The day will begin with a 5k run at noon throughout historic Fishtown, followed by live music, local art and crafts, a circus performance, magicians, vendors and lots of food.
The festival will also feature a full day of live music, with local acts headlined by the John Byrne Band with Wareika Hill, Rock to the Future, The Snails, Adam and Dave’s Bloodline.
And — best part — for just $20, you’ll get access to the FNA tent and a bottomless cup to try craft beers from Philadelphia Brewing Company and St. Benjamin’s Brewing, with seating and a great view of the stage. $5 more gets you a special souvenir cup.
Help support the FNA’s efforts to beautify and promote Fishtown, and Philadelphia at large.
