Frankford Hall Invites Guys To Grow A Moustache For “Movember,” An Initiative To Raise Awareness Of Men’s Health, Thursday, November 1

As part of Frankford Hall’s effort to raise awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer, the Fishtown beer garden starts November off with Movember, a national moustache-growing charity dedicated to the recognition of men’s health issues, and a free shave from The Art of Shaving along with happy hour specials for all gents who stop by between 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 1.

Why is the watering hole suddenly turning into a barber shop?

Because the Movember event is encouraging the male population to grow their own unique flavor saver/mouth brow/lip toupée in order to become a 30-day walking/talking billboard which will effectively initiate conversations revolving around men’s health risks which are often ignored.

The month-long “grow your mo” initiative will come to a close at the end of the month with Frankford Hall’s Mo Bro Gala, one of the charity’s many galas to take place across the globe, where participating fellas can show off the results of their homegrown stache.

For more details, check out Movember’s site where men can register to be a part of the cause and all can donate.
