New Leash On Life USA — the non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of prison inmates and saving the lives of abandoned shelter dogs by helping them develop new skills, experience positive reinforcement, and grow from the caring partnerships they create together — takes a figurative gamble every day.

That’s why its upcoming Casino Royale Fundraiser is not only a beneficial and significant way to raise funds for this cause, it’s quite appropriate as well.

On Saturday, October 13, from 6-10 p.m., join New Leash on Life at 2200 Arch Street at a casino night unlike any other. Sure, there will be the more traditional casino-themed games and activities like Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Roulette and Craps.

But this casino party will also have a Puppy Kissing Booth, which is quickly becoming an event staple for the organization.

Attendees will also have access to an open bar and food display, “fun” money with which to play equally amusing games, raffles (like a week’s stay in a Vermont or Bonaire vacation home), prizes, restaurant gift certificates and much more.
