PAFA After Dark Returns With A “Designed With Love” Theme, Thursday, October 25

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, in conjunction with their new Frank Furness exhibition, presents a special edition of “PAFA After Dark” as part of the city-wide celebration of 19th century architect Frank Furness.
Join the celebration and enjoy the beautiful art displays and music while sipping on a tasty cocktail inside PAFA’s Historic Landmark Building, designed by none other than Frank Furness himself.
Get in on the Gallery Talks with painter William Trost Richards as he explains his A Mine of Beauty design theme featuring pocket-sized watercolors and a walk-through tour of Furness’ most innovative design elements.
Meanwhile, move your feet to a curated selection of great tunes by DJ Apt One.
Anthropologie will also have a pop-up show on display featuring fashion pieces designed by PAFA students. There will be a “Show & Tell” by the artists who won the Anthropologie design competition and the shoppers who nominated them. They’ll also be selling their unique creations, so come prepared to indulge in guilty-pleasure shopping.
