Calling all dogs… and owners. This Saturday, November 3, PAWS will be hosting their sixth annual “Mutt Strut” at FDR Park.
Walk your mutt around the 1.5-mile path at FDR Park to raise money for the city’s abandoned animals.
There will be plenty of activities for pets and people alike. Dress your pet up for the costume contest or have their coat groomed. Participate in “Ask the Trainer” training tips to get your dog behaving like Lassie and bring the kids to KYW Newsradio’s Kidcasts studio to record their own newscast.
Register for the event either as an individual or with a team. The more money you raise, the cooler prizes you’ll win!
If you raise $100 you’ll win a PAWS T-shirt, if you raise $200 you’ll win a PAWS umbrella, if you raise $500 you’ll win a PAWS messenger bag and, drumroll please, if you raise $1,000 you’ll win a $100 VISA/AMEX gift card.
If you’re looking to add a dog to your family, this is your event to adopt a PAWS dog.
Did we mention that there will be free parking at this event? All the more reason to head down to FDR Park on Saturday. See you there.
