The Philadelphia Museum of Art combines a few of Philadelphia’s favorite things — art, beer and business — for its annual craft show, which will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11.
195 craft artists from across the U.S. and the U.K. will have their work on display and for sale all throughout the four days of the show.
These artists were carefully selected from more than 1,300 applicants to present you with a refined look at brilliant sculptures, mixed-media pieces, paintings, textiles and more.
In addition to viewing great art, guests are invited to attend Handcrafted Beer: A Tasting Event , a craft brewer meet-and-greet and tasting hosted by Don Russell (aka Joe Sixpack), the Daily News columnist, executive director of Philly Beer Week and Philly 101 star.
That’s happening on Friday, November 9, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Convention Center. $45 gets you a ticket to the tasting and includes admission to the craft show.
Also consider getting tickets for the opening night gala, a fabulous cocktail soiree happening prior to the show kick-off on Wednesday, November 7.
You can also bring out the office crew for the Connect & Collect Corporate Reception happening between 5:30 and 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, in a private reception area within the Convention Center showroom. Guests are free to mingle between the show and the party throughout the evening.
The annual PMA Craft Show is an acclaimed event, attended by visitors from around the country. Don’t miss out.
