The Philadelphia Orchestra To Perform A Free Season Preview Concert To Kick Off Yannick Nézet-Séguin’s Inaugural Year As Music Director, Saturday, October 13

Here’s one to make sure you don’t miss: the world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra is performing a free concert to kick off Yannick Nézet-Séguin’s inaugural season as Music Director.
The concert will take place at the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall on Saturday, October 13 at 8 p.m., and the program is a special preview of the 2012-13 season.
It will include works by Beethoven, Bach, Liszt, Gershwin and more all led by the orchestra’s assistant conductor, Cristian Macelaru.
Admission is free but limited to four tickets per reservation. Get your tickets early (a.k.a., now). Seating is limited, and first-come, first-served.
Plus: the orchestra is offering a Season Preview Special Offer. Pay no tickt fees when you purchase a Create-Your-Own 4-Concert Series in person at the Kimmel Center the night of October 13, in person.
