BalletX, resident contemporary ballet company at The Wilma Theater, kicks up their Fall Series 2012 with a three-part East Coast/World Premiere performance from award-winning and internationally recognized choreographers running Wednesday, November 7 through Sunday, November 11.
The globally-influenced collaboration welcomes the work of Philadelphia-based Kate Watson-Wallace, founder of the art collective Anonymous Bodies; European solo artist and newcomer to BalletX, Mauro Astolfi, founder of the Spellbound Dance Company, an on-demand leader in the international scene; and Matthew Neenan, who presents Switch Phase, which was performed during the 2012 Vail International Dance Festival.
The BalletX Fall Series 2012 will also mark the final bow of founding member and dancer, Tara Keating, who has been a part of every performance since BalletX’s inception.
