The second and final season of Anthony Bourdain’s show The Layover debuted this week on the Travel Channel on Monday night.

But the date we really care about is when the Philadelphia episode of The Layover airs.

We’re excited to let you know that the Philadelphia episode will air on Monday, December 3 at 9 p.m. So set your DVR.

For a peek at some production shots from Bourdain’s time in Philadelphia, check out our photo preview post. During the show you can expect to see the Barnes Foundation, Di Bruno Bros., Paesano’s, Mutter Museum, Amis, Dirty Frank’s and more.

The show profiles what a traveler can do in a city in 24 to 48 hours, and the spotlighted cities this season range from Paris to Taipei to Sao Paolo to Dublin.

We’ve been hoping Bourdain would come do a show here in Philadelphia for a while now, so we are very excited that not only did the city finally make it onto the show, but also that the Philadelphia episode is finally going to air(!!).

And it seems like Bourdain is happy about it too. In an interview with Eater Philly about his time here, Bourdain said, “I should have come here sooner.”

It’s true. Layover viewing party, anyone?
