University City District’s Porch at 30th Street Station celebrates its one year anniversary today!
A year ago today, UCD converted a congested parking lane and bland sidewalk into one of the city’s most animated public places.
Programming has included a live cooking demo from Chef Jose Garces, a weekly farmer’s market, yoga classes, live music, a pop-up beer garden, mini golf course, pop-up opera and so much more.
And there’s more where that came from in store for 2013.
Take a look above at some of the facts and figures from the Porch’s first year.
Stay in touch with the Porch at theporchat30th.com and on Facebook and Twitter. And check out a few snapshots of Porch activity, below.
