Happy First Birthday To The Porch At 30th Street Station! A Look At Some Facts And Figures From The Permanent Parklet’s First Year
University City District’s Porch at 30th Street Station celebrates its one year anniversary today!
A year ago today, UCD converted a congested parking lane and bland sidewalk into one of the city’s most animated public places.
Programming has included a live cooking demo from Chef Jose Garces, a weekly farmer’s market, yoga classes, live music, a pop-up beer garden, mini golf course, pop-up opera and so much more.
And there’s more where that came from in store for 2013.
