One of Philadelphia’s most beloved homes to anthropological artifacts from around the world, The Penn Museum, is the perfect place to go to revel in the tremendous diversity of holiday celebrations.
On Sunday, December 2, just in time for the holiday season, the museum will host an afternoon of family-friendly activities centered around international holiday traditions.
Penn Museum International Classroom speakers will take visitors on tours through the galleries and tell the stories of their homeland traditions through song, art, games and all sorts of interesting activities.
Kids will get the chance to have their faces painted with exotic designs, make arts and crafts, score some balloon art and dance to international music.
The event, made possible by the Penn Museum’s Women’s Committee, will be free for the community. Free treats will be provided for kids, too!
