It’s a cold, quiet winter night in 1777 as you walk down the cobblestone of 2nd Street.
Philadelphia has been captured by the British and their troops have set up camp in Germantown, and after General Washington’s failed attempt to push them out, things look bleak. That is, unless you’re in the City Tavern where Christmas spirit is high and libations are flowing.
Sing, toast and drink to the early years of our nation with The Once Upon a Nation storytellers at Thursday night pub crawls through Old City through December.
