As this weekend brings the first days of December, welcome the holiday-filled month at the Christmas festival at Peddler’s Village.

On Saturday and Sunday, December 1-2, enjoy a free festival bound to get you in the holiday spirit.

At 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus to Peddler’s Village as they arrive at the winter wonderland. A parade with live music and carolers will follow them as they make their way through the village.

Eager children can read Santa their Christmas wish lists following the parade at Santa’s workshop, located in Giggleberry Fair.

On the Main Green, purchase a cup of warm mulled cider, heated up in an old-fashioned kettle, and a complimentary marshmallow to roast.

Peddler’s Village will have a plethora of holiday decorations on display for your viewing pleasure. Victorian fruit wreaths and greenery will decorate the space by day. At night, the village will glow with one million lights.

For those looking for some friendly competition, head over to the annual Gingerbread House Competition and Display! The event showcases gingerbread houses of all sorts, from traditional gingerbread houses to recreations of significant buildings.
