The Fairmount Fling is upon us once again, this year celebrating its 10-year anniversary and “A Decade of Growth.”
As always, proceeds will benefit the Fairmount CDC, but this year they’re doing something a little different.
The Fairmount Food Fight, a pre-reception head-to-head restaurant battle, will have some of Fairmount’s chefs putting forth their best dishes and competing for the Food Fight Cup. After sampling the drink-paired plates, guests will determine who is crowned the winner.
Food Fight participantes include The Belgian Cafe, Bridgid’s, Hickory Lane, Isabel BYOB, LA Calaca Feliz, Lemon Hill, Trio BYOB and Water Works Restaurant.
After the Food Fight, the Fling gets into full swing with live music, unlimited beer and wine, and delicious food samples from more than 20 local restaurants including the Food Fight participants as well Bishop’s Collar, Kite & Key and others.
The event helps the Fairmount CDC fund neighborhood improvement projects to continue to keep Fairmount flourishing.
