Shop and save during the 2012 NoLibs Holiday Shopping Spree, a two-day sales event taking place on Saturday, December 1, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, December 2, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

The NoLibs Holiday Shopping Spree, nominated for “Best Shopping Event” by Philadelphia Magazine, is what’s known as a “progressive sale,” meaning that customers earn more discounts the more they shop. In simpler terms, the more you spend, the more you save.

Here’s what you need to know:

The spree will take place from Spring Garden Street to Girard Avenue and from 2nd to 4th Street in Northern Liberties. A whopping 12 retail businesses in the neighborhood will be participating.

In the first participating store you’ll receive 10% off any purchase and a “spree card” with a sticker on it. In the second store, show your spree card, complete with sticker, and you’ll get 15% off your next purchase — not to mention a second sticker. In the third store, show your spree card again, this time with two stickers, and get 20% off this purchase. And a third sticker.

Once you have three stickers, you’ll receive 25% off your purchases at any additional participating store throughout the event.
