The Wagner Free Institute of Science’s annual benefit cocktail party is back.
This Friday, November 9 from 5:30-8 p.m. head to the historic science center for a night of scientific fun while raising money for the Wagner Institute.
The theme this year is “Electrifying” and will benefit the institute’s comprehensive upgrade to its electrical system.
The new electrical system will boast green design and green maintenance practices. The new lighting will also benefit the 1,000-plus specimens on display in the exhibit hall. It will advance the preservation of the fossils, minerals, taxidermied animals and other items on display.
Guests will enjoy appetizers, live music and prize drawings. In addition, guests will be the first to see a temporary exhibit which will debut at the event.
