Fishtown’s getting festive this New Year’s Eve.
Next-door restaurants Fette Sau and Frankford Hall, both under the Starr Restaurant Organization umbrella, will be hosting New Year’s shindigs fun enough worth bouncing back and forth between.
Here’s the scoop:
Want some barbecue with your New Year’s Eve? Fishtown’s newest BBQ joint, a transplant from Brooklyn, is, er, feting the New Year with a celebration to ring in their very first New Year’s in Philly. Fette Sau will be providing guests with special meats and some live music to get you in the proper spirit. Blue Grass band Old Fashioneds will be performing twice for your listening pleasure, first at 9 p.m. and then again at 11 p.m. Bonus: no cover!
Next door, Frankford Hall will celebrate New Year’s Eve beer-garden-style with live music from the Ja Ja Jas at 8, 10 and 11:15 p.m., complimentary schnapps toast at midnight and drink specials. Bonus: no cover, either!
Both events offer free admission, so there’s no pressure to commit to just one.
