Germantown’s Cliveden Carriage House Presents A Special Discussion And Tasting Of Traditional Fermented Brews, Friday, December 14
The Cliveden Carriage House on Germantown Avenue pours over the age old process of fermented beverages with a special two hour tasting and educational event, Uncorking the Past: A Tasting and Talk with Patrick, Friday, December 14, 7-9 p.m.
Guest Patrick McGovern, the Scientific Director of the University of Pennsylvania Museum’s Biomolecular Archaeology Laboratory, will lead the discussion and tour of ancient-style craft brews while participants sample and sip the suds.
Complimentary plates will also be paired with the beers from recipes found around the world.
