The New York Times calls Pig Iron “One of the few groups successfully taking theatre in new directions,” and Hogs and Kisses, in all its debaucherous glory, most definitely remains right on par with that description.
Where else can you see such a highly acclaimed rock ‘n roll cabaret — for a good cause?
Featuring the lovely “seven-foot-tall Venus in Fake Furs,” Martha Graham Cracker, and a whole singing, dancing, skin-bearing ensemble, Pig Iron Co.’s “Hogs and Kisses” is exactly the kind of play on words of love you’ll want to see before V-day rolls around.
Dedicated to the topic of love — the good, the bad and the ugly — “Hogs and Kisses” wishes to swoon you with this lovely fundraising fiesta and celebration of the human heart (and other parts of the body).
Don’t miss the bids and giveaways. Though we’re not quite sure if they’re for real, there’s talk of hot-air balloon rides, troubadour services, lace doilies and personal cheese concierges?
See you there.
