Businessman/Engineer Evan Malone launched the first edition of Nextfab, a for-profit, co-op laboratory building equipped with digital workshop machines, in January 2010 in the University City Science Center.
Now, four successful years later, his tech mecca will expand to knew ground.
NextFab invites you to celebrate the opening of its brand new facility located at 2025 Washington Avenue; this one’s five times the size of the first one (upgraded to 21,000 square feet) with five times the opportunity to house hard-working Philadelphians.
Click here for a complete list of all on-site, membership amenities.
Those who attend the opening will get a sneak peak tour of the facility and be able to get in on demonstrations of the many new capabilities this facility offers such as water jet cutting, CNC milling and turning, high-definition 3D printing and more.
The new NextFab location includes everything from a Cafe L’Aube creperie cafe with on-site coffee roasting to a number of private studios with 24/7 facility access for round-the-clock innovation. Those with a membership will receive special, to-be-announced offers at the opening.
Tickets are available online.
