Outside at Love Park, the annual Christmas Village invites shoppers to browse the holiday goods displayed in 60 decorated booths, which form a medieval village selling European food, sweets and drinks, high-quality arts and crafts and more. (Photo by M. Fischetti for GPTMC)
Have you visited the Philadelphia Christmas Village in Love Park yet?
If not, hop to it — the annual holiday market closes for the season in less than a week on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24.
And it’s a tradition worth partaking in. You can cross some last-minute holiday gifts off your list, enjoy tasty German treats and drinks and take photos by the LOVE statue and glorious City Hall Christmas tree.
Decorated with thousands of lights, festive booths and the aroma of sweets, the Christmas Village will transport you to a real German Christmas Market.
Closing day is December 24. Times are as follows:
Sunday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
