The 2012 Philly Photo Day Exhibition features more than 1,800 city snapshots. It's on display through December 28, and you can also take a fun trolley tour of some of the photos turned into actual billboards. (Photo courtesy Philadelphia Photo Arts Center)
If you feel like the only person in the city to miss out on the Philly Photo Day exhibition opening, then leave no regrets for the New Year with the Philly Photo Day Billboard Trolley Tour on Thursday, December 20.
It’s one tour of the city that won’t take you back in time via horse-drawn carriage.
Instead, you’ll see supersized snapshots from the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center exhibition, chosen from more than 1800 photos taken on October 28.
Enjoy these frozen city moments taken by camera-wielding locals of all skill levels — from iPhone Instagrams to the dexterously digital — all while sitting back in the warmth and comfort of a vintage trolley.
The $25 ticket also earns you hot cocoa and cookies, perfect for building up that pre-holiday paunch.
Find the rest of the photos on display at PPAC through December 28.
