The Krampuslauf Holiday Festival Hits Liberty Lands Park This Saturday, December 15

Back for its second year in Northern Liberties is Krampuslauf, a fun-for-all winter festival.

What is this Krampuslauf festival? A Krampus is a scary creature from the tales of the countries that make up the Alps.

A Krampus, like the Grinch, is the opposite of Jolly Old St. Nicholas. Instead of rewarding the good children, a Krampus punishes the bad. So, you literally better watch out.

On Saturday, December 15, celebrate the Krampus in a family-friendly festival at Liberty Lands Park.

While the event will have monsters and celebrate the darkness around the holiday, the ghouls will be putting on their friendly faces while distributing candy to all who attend.

Dress up in a monster-style costume and head out for a day of fun, candy and celebration.
