The place to be at 4 p.m. is Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar. The University City spot has launched an early happy hour running from 4-6 p.m. that features a bunch of organic and local bites and drinks on the cheap.
Monday-Friday, enjoy $5 appetizers like flatbreads, Asian BBQ skewers and edamame while sipping on $5 pints of Peak Brewing Company’s organic King Crimson and Mocha Stout. Also enjoy $6 mulled wine and their new $10 cocktail with a conscience.
The cocktail with a conscience is a new drink that benefits The Food Trust, a local charity that aims to provide nutritious food for all. The cocktial rotates each season to incorporate the freshest ingredients. This month’s cocktail includes American Harvest organic vodka, Art in the Age’s rhuby liqueur, apricot syrup and a pickled ginger garnish.
Each season the cocktail with a conscience also benefits a different charity. Neat!
Harvest is providing Philadelphia with early relief to any rough days ahead.
