The Franklin Institute Kicks Off Its 2013 Target Community Night Series Tonight, Which Includes Free Evening Museum Admission Every Third Wednesday Of The Month, Beginning At 5 P.M.

Mark your calendars! Tonight from 5-8 p.m., the Franklin Institute kicks off its 2013 Target Community Nights series with a celebration of Benjamin Franklin’s 307th birthday.

Target Community Night events occur at the Institute on the third Wednesday of each month and offer free museum admission and programming. Tonight’s Franklin-themed event is full of family-friendly activities to honor the life of one of America’s most influential men.

To celebrate Ben’s b-day, enjoy liquid nitrogen ice cream, planetarium shows, arts and crafts, and more. Remember, all activities are free!

Also, don’t miss this opportunity to explore some of the Franklin Institute’s most popular exhibits, like The Giant Heart and Sports Challenge. There will be live science shows for guests to check out as well.

Admission is free, but visitors are required to register. Registration begins at 5 p.m. at the 20th Street business entrance, to the right of the main stairs.
