In a cold weather conundrum? Find refuge at the American Swedish Historical Museum during their annual Pea Soup and Punsch Supper on Saturday, January 26.
The Ärtsoppa och Punsch supper dates back to the medieval times and is served as a hearty winter meal before Friday fasting.
The loaded ladles of Swedish pea soup start pouring at 6 p.m. and will be accompanied by authentic Swedish cheeses, breads and dessert.
Cap off the evening and toast the tradition with a glass of Punsch, a boozy arrack-infused drink. (Tip: have cash on hand if you choose to imbibe on any other cocktails.)
Admission is $20 for members of the museum and $25 for non-members. Reservations are necessary as seating is limited, so get on it, people.
