Valentine’s Day isn’t just a day to celebrate love between humans, it is also a day to celebrate love of all sorts. That includes literal puppy love. Celebrate your dog and the wellness of other dogs at the sixth annual Puppy Love Valentine’s Party hosted by Smokin’ Betty’s and Devil’s Alley.
The event will take place at the 23rd Street Armory on Tuesday, February 12 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Emmy winner, Maria Papadakis will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies.
There will be goodies and activities for humans and dogs alike. That’s right, dogs are encouraged to attend this event as well.
Smokin’ Betty’s and Devil’s Alley will provide attendees with cocktails and bites and with sweets from Ms. Goody Cupcake (for dogs too!). Guests will also have the chance to take part in a silent auction, listen and dance to live music and have their photo taken with their pooch at the puppy photo booth. Dogs will also get take home a doggie goodie bag and strut their stuff on the doggie red carpet.
Food highlights include crab cake sliders, BBQ chicken salad sliders and mini veggie burgers. Sip on Malibu, Absolut and Jameson cocktails, or if you’re more of a beer person, craft beers from Brooklyn Brewery, Yards Brewing Company and Stoudts Brewery will be available.
Guests who arrive without dogs will be paired up with a pup looking for a date. And in case you’re looking for a furry friend to take home, dogs will even be available for adoption.
All proceeds will benefit the PSPCA.
Tickets are available online.
