Spring is truly in the air, folks.
Historic Philadelphia’s family favorite Franklin Square is reopening for the 2013 season this Friday, March 1.
Weather permitting, enjoy one of the city’s favorite play places and its many amenities. Play a round of Philly Mini Golf, take a ride aboard the Liberty Carousel or just enjoy a rest next to the refreshing vintage marble fountain.
Franklin Square’s SquareBurger — Stephen Starr’s popular burger, hot dog and milkshake joint — is set to open a little later than the park’s other attractions, on March 23.
In the meantime, pack a picnic or visit a nearby restaurants if you plan on visiting the park between March 1 and 22.
Franklin Square will open at 10 a.m. daily in March, including opening day, so arrive early and get ready for a day of great family fun.
