It’s no secret that Philadelphia has a phenomenal food truck scene, literally every meal and dessert you could want is available from a food truck somewhere in the city.
For those who are craving some food truck fare, you’re in luck. The Philadelphia Mobile Food Association is teaming up with Spodee wine and heading to the Piazza on Saturday, February 23 at 5 p.m. with a slew of our favorite food trucks.
For those who haven’t heard of the delicious Spodee beverage, it can simply be described as wine with a kick.
In addition to serving tasty grub, each food truck will be challenged to create the best Spodee spiked appetizer. Attendees will have the chance to indulge in a free (!!!) sample of each truck’s creation and vote for their favorite inside Kings Oak.
Each casted vote counts as a raffle ticket for a Spodee-themed gift bag.
Participating food trucks include Mac Mart Truck, Chewy’s, Farm Truck, Kachi Truck, Foo Truck, The Cow and the Curd, Cupcake Carnivale and Jimmies Cupcakes.
All food trucks will be serving their regular menus in addition to the Spodee spiked appetizer. If the Spodee spiked appetizer has your mouth watering for some more Spodee, speciality cocktails will be available for $5 a piece.
Bonus: If the February weather lives up to its chilly expectations, Kings Oak invites guests to nosh on their food truck fare inside their restaurant.
