February 12, 2013
Theatre Confetti, a theatrical assembly of plays, eccentric parties and drag queen productions, hosts an evening of sensory indulgence with another marvelous soirée appropriately entitled Umami, Wednesday, February 20.
Borrowed from the Japanese language, Umami, meaning a pleasant savory taste, presents a curiously engaging production for its audience to enjoy.
Featuring set design by Creme Design (the creative folks behind Theatre Confetti’s underground, glow-in-the-dark relaunch party), the evening will display a selection of amuse bouche prepared by Chef Shola Olunloyo, a performance by the West Philly Orchestra and music by Lovesick, Inc.
An open bar from Rolling Barrel Events is included with the purchase of a $35 ticket online.
Umami will set stage at the Power Plant in Old City welcoming event-goers at 9 p.m. with doors closing at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are limited for this sure-to-sell-out experience worth savoring.
