The Fishtown Neighbors Association will be hosting their third-annual Fishtown Chili Cookoff on Sunday, March 24 from 1-4 p.m.
This year’s event will feature 10 amateur cooks along with area restaurants Loco Pez, Sketch Burger, Barcade, Lloyd, East Girard Gastropub, Interstate Drafthouse, Fishtown Tavern, Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen.
Philadelphia Brewing Company and Neshaminy Brewing Company will provide guests with beer to wash down the tasty chili.
Indulge in lots of delicious chili and then vote for your favorites. Prizes will be awarded for Best Restaurant Chili, Best Amateur Chili and a People’s Choice Award. Head out and see if last year’s winner, Loco Pez, can hold their spot at the top.
Celebrity judges will also add in their vote for the best chilis in Philly.
Philadelphia food critic Drew Lazor, Radio 104.5 on-air personality Wendy Rollins and Tony Luke of the famed Tony Luke’s cheesesteaks will all be in attendance.
Advance entry is $15, and is available online. For an extra $3, purchase a Fishtown Neighbors Association pint glass with your advance entry ticket. Chili only tickets will be available at the door for $10.
