Reminder, folks, the annual feel-good event Dining Out For Life is taking over more than 200 Philadelphia-area restaurants on Thursday, April 25.
The annual event raises funds for HIV/AIDS efforts in Philadelphia. Philadelphia’s Dining Out For Life benefits ActionAIDS, AIDS Delaware, Family and Community Service of Delaware County and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Participating restaurants include popular spots like Alla Spina, Silk City Diner, Buddakan, Le Virtu and Zahav. The full list of restaurants is available here.
The restaurants will donate 33 percent of their profits from Thursday, April 25 to the cause.
For the first time ever, food trucks will join the cause, populating East Passyunk Avenue in the parking lot between Tasker and Morris Streets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 25. The Gourmet Lunch Truck Pop-Up includes nine food trucks each serving up a variety of eats. A portion of the funds raised by the trucks will also be donated to Dining Out For Life.
