Spend the days leading up to Mother’s Day finding a perfect gift for Mom and enjoying one of Philadelphia’s many great parks at the annual Fitler Square Spring Fair.
All day long on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, Fitler Square welcomes live music, food, kid-friendly activities, a book sale, a flea market and a silent auction.
Admission to the fun-filled spring fest is totally free, just pay for food, books and knick-knacks as the day unfolds.
Within the square, browse and buy from the silent auction which includes items and services from area restaurants, shops and vendors like flowers, baked goods, children’s clothing, gently used books and Fitler Square memorabilia.
Surrounding Fitler Squre, an assortment of booths and vendors are slated to sell their goods in an expansive flea market.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Both days boast live music from the likes of The Philadelphia School A Capella Chorus, MetroKids Club and the Mummers String Band and many more local bands. Head to the fest on Saturday for the moon bounce, which is always a favorite among youngsters.
