Take note, music fans.

The Roots Picnic, the annual music extravaganza from our hometown hip-hop heroes, returns for its sixth year on June 1.

With a reputation as the hardest working band in music, The Roots deliver a blockbuster day of concerts every year. This year’s show is set to hit Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing on Saturday, June 1 and, as always, the lineup includes talent from a wide range of genres.

For the group’s 2013 festival, headliners span from up-and-coming guitar star Gary Clark Jr., who has performed at festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo, to hip-hop legend Naughty By Nature.

Also look out for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who is expected to give one of the duo’s signature high-energy shows, and DJ Premier, who will spin on the turntables. Solange, Robert Glasper, How To Dress Well and many, many more rockers round out the lineup, including — of course — a performance from The Roots.

Tickets to the daylong bash are already on sale at the TLA Box Office (free of service charge) and online.

But starting today, fans can enter to win a pair of tickets to The Roots Picnic via a Philly 360° contest!

Enter here through May 15 for a chance at two passes, and while you’re at it check out the full 2013 Roots Picnic lineup and a video from last year’s festivities.
